'Hakata lighting up 2016' is the lighting festival for illuminating traditional temples in the Hakata area in Japan.

This year is the 11th festival and organised by the city of Hakata.

The sponsors are given the responsibility for illuminating each temple, this is done as a group or working alone.

KKDC Japan are pleased to be a sponsor and will be installing linear LED to illuminate the temple of 'Kai Gen Gi'.

There are two rooms in the temple.

The first is expressing judgment day after death, the main god judges the dead peoples life and sends them to heaven or hell.
