Event Horizon

Its was great to exhibit for the first time at Maison & Objet show (7-11 September). With our compact stand, named 'Event Horizon', we were able to showcase our new decorative, kinetic art pieces: 'TRANQUILLA', a large linear LED light projector featuring an Italian Murano glass cylinder and the more compact version 'YUME' which uses Japanese Okamoto glass, designed in collaboration with Motoko Ishii Lighting Design. Both products combine unique hand-made artisan glass materials and KKDC's latest LED lighting technology to achieve mystical, calming and dramatic reflective lighting effects projected onto a wall surface, reminiscent of the northern lights. Custom lighting effects can be programmed via DMX and bespoke paint finishing is available on request.

YUME was also introduced to form part of an Art installation at the LIGHT TREND stand at Maison & Objet produced by Motoko Ishii & Akari-Lisa Ishii.

Held at Parc des Expositions de Villepinte Paris, the Maison et Objet show is one of the most important interior design trade shows in Europe and showcases design excellence, innovation and talent from around the world.
